Carpet Stains Must Be Removed As Soon As They Appear

When I lived in the dorms, I never thought about carpet stains until it was too late. You see, I had been told that they were pretty lax about cleanliness standards in the dorms. Basically, if you sprayed some carpet stain remover before you left, vacuumed the room, and took the posters off the wall, you were all right. It turns out that I was unfortunate enough to live in a new dorm room. On the one hand, it was nice to have a nice clean room. On the other hand, that cleanliness did not last for long.

By the time I moved out, there were carpet stains everywhere. I had not used any carpet stain removal, and when I tried to, it wouldn't work. I tried every trick for removing carpet stains that I could find. I tried soda water, I tried lemon juice, and I even tried a little bit of bleach. Nothing worked. The bleach actually ruined the carpet even more. I was basically out of luck.

It was a painful lesson, but it was definitely a lesson all the same. Carpet stains, you see, must be removed as soon as they appear. Otherwise, they will stay on the carpet forever. It can be a difficult trick to keep up with the carpet stains that appear, but it is necessary.

One of the tricks that I have learned since then was to keep some carpet stain remover on hand at all time. That way, at the first hint of carpet stains I can spray it on. I don't know what it is made of, but it works wonderfully. As long as I spray it within an hour, it lifts the carpet stains right off. It foams and fizzles a little bit, and it smells a little bit odd, but works like nothing I've ever seen before.

The way I finally got out of my dorm room fiasco was to hire a carpet cleaning business. I figured that hiring some carpet cleaners was my last shot at getting things right. It turns out that they could not get the carpets completely cleaned, but they got them much better than I thought they would. The carpet stains that were left were very faint, and I ended up being charged only a little bit of money for minor repairs to the dorm room. If I had only spackled over the holes in the wall, I wouldn't have been charged a thing!
